    Is it possible your coin was struck pre- stage A ?

    I believe it is! Wexlers. I didn't look at that site. Thank you! Die markers are faint. Rpm. Is identical. WRPM-001 Best of variety 20240430_20_22_08.png 20240430_20_22_51.png

    Sure looks like a 1940-S/S FS-501 to me.

    I don't do die varieties, but that's neat. A pretty prominent RPM.
