i change my mind and told my relatives to boycott the mint. don't buy from them. ops that is not correct. or i should said. i will buy first spouse gold instead. 17 buffalo equal to 34 spouse gold. of course that will be next week. as for UHR double eagle. i might just pass it.

my new estimate is that the 09 buffalo proof mintage might be around 40,000 to 50,000. it will be high. so i will just pass it. i will wait for next year. the mintage should be lower than this year.

why hurrying?. by next week. if the gold is over $1,050.00 to $1,099.99. the price will still be the same at $1,360.00. it took nine months to clear the 19,000 plus 08 buffalo proof one ounce gold coin. beside, this is not a fractional gold coin. and no way to match those of 2008w buffaloes. lastly, the bullion one is more attractive investment wise.

in order next week for maintaining the price at $1,360.00 for 09 buffalo proof. the average two days and a half london gold price should maintain at least $1,055.00 or higher. or else the mint will adjust down the price to $1,310.00.

It looks like the big coin dealers, shopping networks and institutional investors are buying heavily. it might be a repeat on last year that the several thousands remain stocks were being bought by them. the mint have no choice but to declare sell out.
My guess is that the mintage is around 30,000-40,000. (mintage higher than 2008w but lower than 2006w & 2007w). it can be sell out within these few days. the mint no need to impose household limit and state maximum mintage. wow. even can't wait for a price drop by next Thursday. the 2009w buffalo proof might be all gone. that is my prediction. i even did not order it yet. hopefully my thought and lousy prediction is wrong. i need help and good advises. Krispy. please help me.

Hi elaine / argento... just catching up this morning. elaine, I think you should hold on until next week to buy AGB Proof. It might feel risky to wait but why pay more since you buy so many pieces. I don't think AGB will be a sell out in a week from the Mint. I think you are correct to suspect what drove the initial sales so high. What may happen before sell out is the initial delivery date might get pushed back for orders if they exceed a certain amount within one week. I am willing to take this chance. Gold price hasn't changed much overnight, the worst that could happen is gold goes up next week which would slow the rate of sales after next week if repricing occurs. Also the price could stay the same and you can still buy next week for the price you could this week. And best case scenario, products are repriced lower and you can buy buy buy. That's my general take on buying AGB.
Also, elaine, it's very easy to send coins in for TPG grading, it just has an expense which you have to justify and it does take some time to get your coins back from grading as the process is quite slow for standard grading orders, so if you are impatient the wait could drive you crazy, a little. |

now the gold is traded below $1,040.00 an ounce. be sure to cancel your order before it is too late. the mint process them very quickly this time. in order to prevent massive cancellation. they even process during week end. hurry...........

so many cancellation. now if you order right now. the mint can ship you right away. the mint erase the 11/12/09 shipment date. be sure to cancel quickly. mint is looking and catching at us.
at the first place. the mint should have offer it at $1,310.00. it should have been sell out. the dump personnel in-charge at the mint should be fire. they should have offer special discount to us. they should not always make more profits from dying collectors. someday collectors will be tire at them. thus the mint might have to close the business.
