all the mint products right now are overpriced. three price bracket overcharge. the only way to tell the mint is to boycott. and tell our CT collectors not to buy until adjustment is done.

krispy will give strong complaint to the mint in behalf of us.

I foresee no problems today, esp if they do not update the price today but I expect they will adjust the price down accordingly at noon.

no. it's final,, price stay the same. mint used nine average to calculate instead of ten. they have the option to choose 9 or 10 in favor for them. sorry folk. just wait for next week. check the mintage. for me i just pass this one.

At $1360 each I doubt the website will be bogged down with orders like with the Lincoln Chronicles Set... Guess we will find out in a few hours!

I wonder if there are really that many First Day of Release buyers out there willing to pay the extra $50 (like Chiefbullsit mentioned in another thread) to buy today at this slightly higher price? And the Mint knowing how well day of release sales for highly anticipated pieces go, would not volume of sales do better should the Mint just lower the price today since it will be down next week anyway? Many people are waiting for this coin, have saved their money to acquire it if it went on sale, but may be close to tapped out on buying gold (this year particularly) and are also saving money for other things that waiting until next week, fully knowing the price will go lower as of this morning will cost the Mint some sales this week which they could take advantage of by lowering the price today from the outset. Does that make sense? or is that too rational of sales-think for Mint logic?
