Well not a whole lot of action on my last, and maybe most interesting Coin Outta The Vault... so I guess I'll just pick things up where I left off.

Here is an absolutely beautiful coin that came in that short set of coins I received from my father in 2008, about two years ago! Of course, the collection was mostly loaded with world coins, and I'm just now starting to pick them up and learn a bit about them. I'm even starting to collect them! :)
My grandfather got most of these coins in his trips around the world, he was every where, and brought his family with him of course.
The only coin related story my dad can tell me though, is that he used to spend mercury dimes on cokes when he was little, who knows, he could've used a 16-D, and he also filed down pennies to turn them into dimes to trick the machine. (Now you guys see where I get my mischievous nature! :D )

Here is the coin, enjoy y'all. As always, comments and questions are always appreciated.

Very nice! French coins and currency have such refined and elegant designs... even in the most standard of circulating issues.

Have you also been looking up the specs on these coins? It might be cool to post the sizes, weights, mintages, years these designs were minted, etc. Just a thought.

Keep the Vault series coming. I love the surprise that each new thread brings with it.

I'm planning to have a big thread with a little closet collection I've been starting a little later, with some of the stuff you mentioned. You almost ruined the surprise Kripsy :D
