Zumbly's Ancient Coin Giveaway - Roman Edition Part 1

Hey folks, I'm going to be doing a few giveaways to find new homes for some of my coins. Just reply to this thread saying you're in and I'll throw your name into the hat. There are three coins in the pic below, but I'll be giving away one coin per week, so you can choose whether or not you want to enter for that specific coin. This week's coin is Coin A.



I'll be receiving names until the end of Wednesday and will announce the winner on Thursday morning (May 18th).

Please also note :
- I'll send the coin to anyone anywhere, just do please let me know when you receive it.
- Please participate only if you have an interest in ancient coins, otherwise, please give someone else the chance to win.
- I've attributed all the coins, but will not include the info with the coin so you can have the fun of doing the attribution yourself .
- Just to emphasize again : this giveaway is ONLY for Coin A in the picture above. I'll do giveaways for the other two in the next weeks.

Those are nice coins and it's nice of you to give them away. Don't put my name in, as I believe there are others that should receive these rather than me. Time to get some others interested in Ancients. Give em one and they will most likely get hooked.

Don't count me in Zumbly, but thanks for holding this! Like some of the others that have posted I would rather see them go to YNs or new collectors.

 

As came out in the Imperator contest, I'm starting to collect coins I can use with my students. While I'm hesitant on A because the incomplete legend (which I know will frustrate my students...), I'll throw in anyway. It'll be a challenge for someone! Thanks Zumbly!

 

Actually the legends are quite complete... they're a tad worn and appear less clear in my quickie pics, but all the necessary bits are there and should be quite easily attributed even by a beginner with the coin in hand .
