when i went to china last year it was amazing the amount of counterfeits they had on the street... crazy. you could by sheets of counterfeit coins... The best was a silver "old looking" Krugerrand! they had just taken the gold Krugerrand design and made one out of silver. Also i found some strange die pairings, an American trade dollar reverse with a Morgan obverse. I almost bought a few for fun but was worried about customs. It probably wouldn't have mattered, because they didn;t even check my stuff. better safe than sorry
