I saw some Zambia notes that I liked and was thinking about getting. They are polymer notes 50, 100, 500, and 1000.

I also saw denominations 5000, 10000, 20000, and 50000. Can someone tell me if these are also polymer notes?

    Thanks in advance.

If you are this serious about paper money of the world that you care whether the new notes of Zambia are polymper, then you should join the International Banknote Society here. Among the many aficiandos are Tom Chao here and Owen Linzmayer here. In this case, Tom does not show the new notes, but Owen does. You might go to Owen's site and ask your question there.

I will ask one of the people listed. I am not as serious about world money anymore (except for Canada). These polymer notes are pretty cheap. It looks like I can get all of the first notes I listed for about $5. I didn't liste the 20 but this is also a polymer note.

I asked the question on Owen's website. He responded very quickly. Seems the higher denomination notes are not polymer.
