Zachary Taylor missing edge?

I pulled this out of the snack machine at work is it real or did someone scrape off the edge

If the edge was scraped off the weight should be low.

 

What is the weight?

 

I can see lettering friend.

 

Its not from this coin there scattered letters from hard bumps of different coins so far I've only seen a u and a p in random spots

 

I think it is a weak lettered edge. Caused by not enough pressure applied to the coin as it rolls through the edge die.
