Here's a 1963 issue of a 100 dinar note from Yugoslavia. The note was first issued in 1955. On the reverse is a view of Dubrovnik.

That is an awsome note LSM! I have a ton of notes from there, but your note is 1 i am missing :) They had some very nicely designed notes during that time IMHO I really like the rebverse!

Thanks DJ! :smile I really like this note too! There's no mention in my book of the printer but whatever company designed this note did a nice job in my opinion.

Well thank you for the compliment Scottish!!! If my collection could only be a fraction as nice as your collection or RickieB's, Daggerjon, De Orc's or some of the other members here I would be very happy.

Ah, we all started somewhere, and my collection started heating up only in 2007, before that I collected Scottish paper money.

Here is the 500 dinar note, these ladies were then used on the re-valued dinar notes 100:1 in 1968:

same overall design, but different images and different colors ... but still a cool note SM!!! they re-used alot of designs on their notes .... but their use of some nice vingetes only helped the overall appeal .. that is, of course, until the 90's. during their hyperinflationary period... the overall quality of the designs really went down hill
