I would appreciate your opinion on what type of error this is. Please pay close attention around the 2:00 area. Thank you. It’s the best photos I can get.

Sorry cn. Photos are too dark to see anything. What are you seeing?

Do you have one of the obverse?
Looks like an abnormal strong strike.
    Large broadstrike.

Hmmm looks like a broadstrike (struck out of collar) to me but the photos are dark. Not exactly sure what you see in the 2 o'clock area.

    Broadstrike is the obvious answer.

I see a Centered Broadstruck. But I can't really see anything else that you are questioning us about.

Thanks. I was wondering if it was centered or slightly off for one thing. I know it’s difficult to see but the first few letters in AMERICA appear closer to the rim than the last few.
When I post later today you can’t help but laugh at the TPG.

Here’s what the coin was graded by PCGS years ago. It’s another coin that I’ve had for 25 plus years and forgot about. Obviously the label is as big of an error as the coin itself.

Exactly! And I’m like, what? Then I started thinking Capped Die?

Is it your coin? Or is it blank on the obverse?

It’s mine. I just don’t have a photo of the obverse.

That coin was stacked in a multiple obverse capped die strike. It looks like it had many die caps to cup it the way it looks.
    Neat coin Collect.

It's a reverse (anvil) die cap. No more than two strikes were necessary to generate it.

Thank you. I knew that label was wrong.
