Your Highest graded coin from circulation?

    I have never had a coin graded, but was wondering what was the highest graded coin any of you sent in that was pulled from circulation? I thought it would be fun to hear what you found.

    Pilkenton almost uncirculated

    I didn't grade it but my highest graded business strike coin is a PCGS MS65 1954-S Franklin half dollar.

    A couple of years ago - using my coupon for NGC membership - I sent in several Morgans I had recieved in a casino about 1961 or so. Big surprise, two that I thought might come back AU50 - 53 were returned in MS60 & MS61 slabs. I still look at them today in wonderment since I pulled them out of circulation - go figure!

    It would have to be a pretty rare coin or variety for me to submit a coin from circulation, and I haven't found one yet.
