If you had unlimited funds and were to narrow your collection down to 20 coins, what would you have in your ultimate collection?

In no particular order my dream box of 20 would consist of the following coins certified by NGC or PCGS:

    2. 1914-D Lincoln MS66RD
    3. 1922 Lincoln MS65RD

Barber Dimes: 1895 P,O, S all Gem MS-65 or better
    1894 S, any condition preferably MS-66.
    Barber Quarters: 1896 S, 1901 S, 1913 S, 1914 S, all MS-65
    Barber Half Dollars: 1892 O, (Micro O) gem unc; 1913, 1914, 1915 P all MS-65 or better.

    That's 12, so I'll add:

    1916 Standing Lib, Gem
    1907 High Relief
    1921 Zerbe Proof Morgan
    #15

Gotta think about the other 5, too much pressure ......... oh, too much money.

Oh yeah: 1937 D, Three leg Buff gem; 1918/7 Gem unc, and of course: 1916/16 Dbl die, gem.

I'll hold the other two for the 1933 Double eagle and 1943 P & D Copper cents.

I cheated, that's 21, but if I have that much money who cares.

Delete any of the above, add the 1913 V-Nickel

i would go for the draped bust series, best condition of course.
i think they are the nicest coins america made and represent a
    lot of history.

Unlimited funds? Sure wouldn't be wasting time with coins. I doubt people like Bill Gates spends time looking for coins. I might hire someone to go out and buy me a complete coin collection of everything, but more than likely I would be out on a hugh boat crusing the Oceans, sitting on a beach on one of my Islands, possibly trying to compete with Jay Leno on quantity of cars.

    Well,
For starters I want an original 1804 Bust Dollar.
That recently sold 1792 Half Disme wouldn't be too shabby either even for a man of my suddenly found wealth.
I'll get back to you on the other 18 as I'm playing tennis with Bill Gates later this evening.

    Man's got a WICKED backhand!

I think I'd try to corner the market on something, just for fun. I'd use a bunch of buying agents to spend full time buying every last coin of a certain type that came to market in every coin show, shop and internet dealer. Just flat out outbid everyone. Probably could never get them all, but probably could run up the price.

You don't need to change it. I noticed that they were similar as well but it doesn't really matter. I just recently changed it in honor of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. :D
