We had our Boeing club coin show this weekend, last Friday we rent a truck and pick up about 90 coin cases. Saturday morning setup (6:30am), once we set up tables then we set up our own tables with our coins. they open the doors at 10:00 am. The morning was super busy, lot of sales, knowing that Sunday would be dead due to play off football game. i sold 15 ancient coins to my surprise, i purchased over the year some cheap Roman coins and sold them from $ 15 to $40. When we would have a slow period i would run around and look at all the coins.. after a few sales a little money in my pocket i would pounce on something. i only bought one ancient, one World coin, mostly modern stuff you guys don't like.. So post up your Janus, two face or prow coins.. Anonymous..211-208..BC.. AE, As Obv. laureate head Janus, l above. Rev.prow of galley, l above, Roma below. Nice big pond skipper, 31x32mm x 35.85. lite green patina.. The dealer had two coins about the same size, this obv. was the best, the other coin the rev. was better, one coin on my want list..

Very nice, John. I do not have any of these, but I've been wanting a nice one like yours (of course at bargain basement prices). Anyway, congrats on a nice addition. Oh, and Oki, that's a very nice Hadrian as well.
@Okidoki, that's a wonderful coin!! I have one Janus-like example. The role of Janus is played by Pompey the Great on this Roman Republican as issued by his son, Sextus Pompey.

Decimus was the stepfather of Marcus Brutus, the murderer of Caesar, having married his mother Servilia. He was elected consul in 63 for the following year ; and in consequence of his being consul designatus, he was first asked for his opinion by Cicero in the debate in the senate on the punishment of the Catilinarian conspirators. He was consul 62, with L. Licinius Morena, along with whom he proposed the Lex Licinia Julia".
