I'll just bet that someone (maybe everyone) knows what this is. I admit, I don't.

The only thing I have time to look at long enough is the 2015 Dime. I got that part right.. right?

Can you make it stop cycling through the different pictures so that we can look at each side for more than a second at a time? :D

That thing looks like 2 ancient coins fused together, or a very, very old Oreo cookie.

It looks like a petrified Oreo cookie to me. (See last photo.)

I don't know what it is but I bet @ValiantKnight can nail it down. It looks Byzantine-ish or Ostrogoth-ish and he's a fan of that era.

I think it's fragments of two coins that are still stuck together from a hoard.

Yeah, that moving crap is making my eyes hurt. Looks more like late roman imitative. Look at the legend. No discernible letters, just IIIIIII. Short of more, (non-moving) pictures that is the best I can guess.

The "sandwich' effect is delamination, often due to a high lead content. Although I don't recognize your coin specifically, the fabric is typical of Afghanistan / Pakistan / NW India.

Looks like a very, very crude contemporary imitation of a fallen horseman type. Must have been the die-maker's first day faking coins...

I was also thinking Indo-skythian type as well as late roman imitative. I just couldn't stand looking at the pic anymore.

8 posts down from the top, you'll find the kinder, gentler pic. It ain't movin'! ;) It does look quite barbarous doesn't it?
