ALL FORMS OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED. LOL How does this slip through e bay????? Pay Pal is the only form of payment allowed by e bay..... I run from items like this doctored rolls >>unopend mint sets >>or unopened GSA Morgans.....if it smells like fish then it's fishy! LOL Paddy:eat:

If it quacks like a duck.... It's a scammer... LOL

    More BS from ebay...

Well at least you get two BU VDB's.. LOL!
Now wouldn't it be something if the person got a complete roll of BU VDB's... But that'll never happen

    Not quite:

"For most categories, sellers need to offer one or more of the following electronic payment choices:
    • PayPal
    • ProPay
    • Moneybookers
    • Paymate
    • Credit card or debit card processed through the seller's Internet merchant account"

Well one thing of interest the paper that the rolls come in were last used in 1956.... Interesting, means even if only 2 1909 VDB's are in the roll the rest would have to be 1956 or aerier. unless he just got the antique rolls for a scam. pretty good if you ask me. Traci :rolling:

All forms of payment to me means that you can pay with cash , check, MO, Pay Pal etc. it's way to general of a statement. Again it's a suckers auction misleading doctored roll as stated above the wrapper does not match the time frame of a solid roll of 1909 VBD cents.

Looks like he's pulled this scam many many times already in reading through the feedback. Nobody's had the guts to call him on it. Looks like most were too ashamed. The funny part is, many of them went for around $100-200. Now somebody just paid 400.00!!? Sad really.

Somebody bought one of the rolls for over $250.00. They happily exclaimed that they got 5 1909 VDB's! Never mind that they probably could have bought 5 separate, better ones and still had $100 in their pocket.

    This feedback is questionable....

The guy got a VDB and probably just said S- VDB because that's what he's always heard and he didn't know any different. All kinds of positive feedback here that doesn't really give an accurate representation I'm sure. I'm sure if I bought one, I would be disappointed and would probably leave a neutral at best.

I wonder if he honors his 3 day money back guarantee on these? It's listed there.

In case anyone is wondering, including this auction, this guy has sold 15 single rolls of Lincolns in the month of June totalling $2,613 in sales.
Those included about 20 confirmed VDBs, a few key dates and a few Indian head cents. The true value we'll never know. I'm sure some rolls have to be sweetened to keep selling them.

Well of course... Or it could be his little buddies, leaving feedback for him, that they got a key date.

The real kicker is e bay nevers give you an answer.... nope if you report or have issues you never get an answer as to what they did......... I don't expect to see eveyone dirity laundry but when you report a voliation you should be made aware of the out come. I had someone put a listing up in my store .... a porn listing "not my listing" Yeah they got right on it to make it go away but never gave me a clue to the out come. Funny thing it came thru e bay not my fire walls. I have a brother in law a real geek and after he tweeked my puter he assured me that it got thru their security not mine.:computer:  now you'll sleep better LOL Paddy

we all should get together and create coin-bay and have elected members from this forum to look for scams and fake coins. It would have much lower fees also.

I only buy in person. That way I can see the coin in hand

There is no problem with buying coins online, as long as you know what you are doing.
I have bought 2 coins in person in my lifetime, and bought the rest online, and I will tell you this, IF I would have seen those coins in hand first, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THEM.
I buy coins with a money back guarantee, and from good trusted sellers, with a high feedback

Well, there is an open forum here. Maybe not as exciting as an online auction but it's free and I'm sure you can negotiate with people by PM. There's just not really that many people that use it. Probably because most people here are buyers the majority of the time.

If I'm ever looking to sell something, I'll try here first for sure. Just as I have another hobby forum that I sell stuff at occasionally.
