Honestly, part of the reason for posting this coin is to see if I'm getting any better at taking photos.

The other reason is to get a few grading opinions...have at it!

Looks like a nice coin, good luster, I'm going to say MS62-63, but I'm leaning towards the 63
    AND GOOD PICTURE

The tough part of the photo is getting the luster..when I look at this photo and then I look at the coin..the luster in the photo doesn't quite show what the coin is really like...

I'm going to fool around with the white balance...

Assuming the breaks in the surface finish on the eagle's breast feathers are from bag wear, I see it definitely getting a minimum of MS-63.
And MS-64 is in the realm of possibility. The marks on the obverse are light. No obvious digs or dings.
I bet it looks better in hand than in your image. I've foung cameras accentuate a lot of stuff that the eye doesn't.

There are breaks in the luster on the eagle's breast feathers, but I don't see any wear.

The coin does look better in hand. The coin color in the photo is kinda flat..the coin is definitely brighter...

It's not the white balance. You just need a stronger light source positioned north of the coin but not directly above it so when you take the pictures straight down, you don't block the light. The cheek on this one is very clean. Awesome strike too. I think it has a legitimate shot at a 65.

I agree with him - hair over the ear and tips of the wings.

I'd say high end AU or low MS ;)

    Nice! :thumb:

This one is tough, but from the pics I would have to agree with GD and Freaky. The luster looks a little off, and I think I see a little bit of wear on the hair under Liberty.

A big reason I post these photos is that I'm pretty new to coin collecting..
I see your point in a bit of wear over the ear..I'll take my loupe out and look at the tips of the wings..

Looks like the consensus is AU55-58..

I always learn something from you guys when I do this...
    Thanks!

If it is an AU, it is a 58 with an excellent strike.

I don't really see the wear everybody is talking about...
If this is an AU, it has to be a 58 like the man12 said...
It has nice luster, and the breast feathers stand out
