Looks like a great buy, CJ! I don't want to put any downers in your coffee, but did the seller say if they were in flips or some other protective covering to prevent contact marks during shipping?

I've seen several dealers (for example Paul Sims and Skyline) who offer the 62 coin set (or the 60 coin set at the end of last year) for around $30 and then you can order more stuff and still only pay $4 for shipping. You got a fair deal off of eBay, but not better than the current advertised market prices.

I asked him, but he never responded.

The auction saya "ROLLED AND READY FOR YOUR ALBUM", so I would assume that he'll send you the coins in rolls.

Sounds like a plan CoinJoe. I think I will place an order on thur when I get paid. Ill report back with the findings.

Anyone else have thoughts on this.

My thoughts are NO - it is not worth it. You would be paying essentially $2 each for quarters that you can find in circulation on a daily basis.

I did email the guy and ask him if he sends a description of each error with each coin. My ordering will lean on his responce.

I decided to start a couple of new P&D quarter albums for my nephews, so I bought 2 complete batches. $50 + $4 shipping is a pretty good deal. Thanks for the tip, Joe :)

Depends on what he calls an error. I used to check all my quarters in change and it was very common to find them with machine doubling and I filled several albums with them in a short time. Some were very dramatic too. Back then I thought I had a gold mine till I found they weren't worth anything. I still have them, they are fun to discover anyways and look at from time to time.

A pictures worth a thousand words, or so they say, and this guy seems to be making up for a lack of a picture with 1000 words. If he provides nice clear picts upon request, then I'd say judge from that. Otherwise, I'm always leary of ebay auctions that don't show the coins (clearly) that you will recieve.
