Meow has heard the term 'Improperly Annealed' before. How is it that you can identify those? If it is by color, how does that look vs toning/corrosion? Will people pay a premium for modern coins that are like this?
Have you had any of them certified by PCGS yet? That should increase their value even if you don't care what they are worth.
I find a lot of stuff in the change . I find the most from Nov. through April . I think that's the times the mints are dumping stuff . Seem to me, like tax time has something to do with it . I'm just saying .............
They have a shinny black surface ( obverse & reverse ) . The reeded rim looks like a regular surface ( not black, red & silver ) ...
Rims should be much brighter than the rest of the coin. If the rims are the same dark color as both sides than it is ED
