I found in an old can of wheat. PCGS were the ones to find the D and will only be listed as genuine but is still in process. Why do so many people hate me now because I found this??

If people hate you, it's not because of that coin.

Welcome to coin talk! I don't hate you...I'm very happy for you!

This reminds me why I buy a $2 lottery ticket each week. It also makes me very happy! Until the drawing, I'm a winner! :D After that :(, the actual winner plus the lottery co. gets my $2. :bigtears:

PS Good luck with your coin! So far this month I've seen in hand 5 1943 copper cents, 1 off-center 1943 copper cent, 1 1943-D copper cent and one 1943-S copper cent. BTW, thanks for helping to pay the TPGS's light bill for the rest of us. ;)

Thanks for he nice responses cuz boy have I got some really mean comments on other places I have posted this. One person actually made fun of arrows I drew myself. Some people are just angry haters.

Odd conssidering there is only one 1943 D bronze cent known. Any proof that PCGS has actually confirmed its legitimacy?

    I seriously doubt it.

    Not to be a hater, but I don't see a "D" either.

Post some proof from PCGS, as tentative as it may be. I cross my skeptical fingers for you.

Very nice find! I'm sure there are still a few more sitting around waiting to be found!

If I am not mistaken, the OP (Original Poster) hasn't sent it in to be authenticated yet. Best wishes and let us know how it comes out. I am sure there will be some doubters, but "Stiff upper lip Old Chap"

Can you clarify what you mean when you said

"PCGS were the ones to find the D" ??

I'm doubting whether or not it is authentic. The tail of the three doesn't go beneath the 4. It may be another date that once corroded looks like 1943. Good luck though!

Of course it's not real - we're just

Going under the guise that it's real, what would it be worth?
