    Edge errors

They look like they were made by the same machine. Gov't or Personal.

It has to be from the mint.....It's on the same letter of each coin, not in the same place....

Perhaps some debris got stuck in the edge inscription step and it took quite a few coins to wear it off???
The only problem with my theory is what would be able to adhere to the equipment at the speeds that it is moving?

Looks like all of them were damaged by the coin wrapper machines

    Post mint damage

Philly, there is no way that is possible. The coins enter the wrapping machines randomly. There is no way that the same marking can be put on each coin like that...it had to come from the edge lettering process..
