I post this because I know many of you collect other things than coins. I father requested something for Christmas that I have know idea where to find it. He wants an album that is unhinged for his pre-1960 Persian stamps. Anyone know where to begin other than google?
There are other brands of albums of that type. Use Google and search hingless stamp albums. And don't forget that Persia and Iran are the same place under different names. Also consider a high quality stockbook. You'd want transparent pockets and interleaving. I won't name any brands but use Google and search on stamp stockbooks. The advantage of a stockbook is that the collector isn't forced into an album-maker's concept of what a complete collection is. Sort of like a Dansco 7070 and their concept of a complete coin type set. A stockbook allows you to do your "own thing".
