I'm not into the coin scene. I dont know what's important and what's not, what's a shift or a misprint, and so on, but i recently saw these wyoming quarter's poping up and was curious about what's up with em. could someone explain to me what happened, and if its significant or not.

    Thanks in advance!!

There seems to be some sort of a shifted stamping, notice the smudge like shadow in front of the faces and horse's. look how the shape is near the same (more noticable on coin b)
Also I have like 12 of them so it can't be to rare.

Thats what you call struck through grease. How this happens is as follows:

A mint emplyee cleaned the Dies with a grease based cleaner. The Dies are what is used to press the image on to the coins. This is considered an error coin. BUT not uncommen Infact VERY COMMEN with the statehood series. If you know a kid thats collects coins give them.

Or list them on ebay you might get a buck for each.

    They are very commen.
