Unlisted in any reference, these pieces were previously unknown to collectors. The trial pieces were submitted to PCGS Currency for authentication and grading. Research uncovered the presence of invisible roller marks, left by COPE machinery during the manufacture offering unequivocal evidence of their origin. The test notes are identical in dimension to small size paper money. The only design elements on the front are the serial numbers, executed in dark black ink. A unique and historic piece of United States Currency and a worthwhile addition to your collection. Quite possibly the only Bureau of Engraving and Printing pattern.
