Hi all! Selling my 1909s VDB Penny. The details are in VF to XF, but it has some damage from cleaning & environmental. Been told it's value is $700-850, so I'm looking for $750 for it, or I will possibly consider other serious offers. A chance to own a piece of history! I really wish I didn't have to get rid of it, but I do. I also have a number or Indian Heads, 1910 & up various year Lincoln's, & older US Cents & Half Cents, as well as old Canadian cents, half cents, etc. If you have any years you are looking for, let me know! I'm currently putting together an order for a guy from here, & don't mind going through & putting together various coins. I have a few hundred Indian head pennies, and the older ones are mostly in lower grade conditions, but some of the later years are higher. If you are a teacher or something & just even want to buy a few to give to your kids in a classroom or something, I'm happy to help with a deal on that, as I think it's cool to get children involved in stuff like this. I know I'm trying to put together little "coin/currency kits" of Indian heads, foreign coins, silver certificates, etc. for my nieces & nephews, as I want them to appreciate the history of these pieces & think of the people that could have spent this money on various things through the years. When I was younger, I remember my mom always saying how dirty money was, & to wash my hands after touching even one Penny lol; and, while it's not like I want to go lick my hands after touching it, I know find it fascinating at the number of hands that money passes through & how something like an Indian head could have bought a decent amount of groceries for a family years ago! So neat! Anyway, let me know if you are interested. Thanks so much! : ) PS Please see the following discussion if you want help with how I came to the price! Thanks! : ) http://www.cointalk.com/threads/1909s-vdb-need-help-with-grading-value-please.246480/#post-1918919
