WTK a FS PCGS PR69 Rev Buffalo or the same coin sealed in OGP?

Ok to keep this story relatively short. I purchased a RB from the mint on 8/24 well as many of you know there was a pretty solid backlog. I had a friend order one on the first day that he got around the 1st of September. Since he doesn't care about the FS nonsense I offered to trade him the one he had in his hand for mine once I got it from the mint. Well, I got word today that it graded a PR69 which is obviously disappointing to me. I have two options now, please take into account that I am investing for the long term 30 years plus. Which coin would you keep? The slabbed PCGS PR69 or one sealed in the OGP and box? The sealed ones are selling for $1900 plus where the 69's are selling for $1700 which is less then I have in it with grading. I just wonder will if the lack of FS's add to the value long term? I wish I could afford to keep both but I can't right now, so one must go. Thanks for the help. I love the site, I hope to be able to contribute.

    Welcome To CoinTalk

Me personally think that the first strike is a bunch of hooo. I would keep the OGP one.

So your friend is good with keeping the one graded 69? That kind of sounds like he is getting ripped off. If it graded a 70 it would be yours, but since it didn't he will get stuck with it....

Your friend did you quite a favor and I think you should let him choose which one he wants to keep and be content with whatever his decision is.

Not really a friend more like an associate, but thats not really the point. He doesn't care either way. He just wanted to get a Rev Buffalo like myself, would have never slabbed it himself. The way I figure it is he gets his coin back, graded to be authentic at very least. I guess i'll ask him tm what he would rather do, to be honest until now I thought no part of this was dishonest.
