    I think we should classify these as Mint Errors as the issue is improper platting at the mint.

    I collect pennies that are badly corroded and deformed to make crystals of copper oxidation (like a farm), then I sell the small mineral “specimens” for just a few bucks.

    Are you sure it’s not a valuable mint error? Make sure to post in the error forum and completely refuse to accept any comments and claim “I’ll send this for grading and you’ll all be sorry”

    There one thing about the coins, in year or so, the medal detector guys won't be able to find them.

    Like people it is "dust to dust."
