I only keep radar and star notes, but hey, if you think it's cool then why not? You might get a tiny premium if you decide to sell it, but not much.
i'd spend it... you'll find better numbers than that. i keep things like radars, repeaters, and things like all even numbers, 22448866 is one that i've kept. try to find notes with 3-5 zeros in the beginning!
I guess there is a "SO-CALLED" rating system for numbers. I don`t personally care for radars and repeaters, much less for something like 4 "9"`s in the middle. If it intrigues you, then keep it. I keep any and all CU consecutive number $1 notes that I get. Whether it be from My Bank, Shoprite, Walmart, or Wawa. Over 10 years, maybe I have 50 of them or so. Probably not worth a whole lot, but they intrigue me, and I save them. Keep what you like. The fact that there is a rating system for these kind of numbers says that a lot of us like these numbers. Just because I could care less whether a note has 4 "9"`s in it, doesn`t mean that 1000 other collectors really do like them. KEEP What you Like!
I saw a Red seal $5 once in FL thats numbers 0000000006. Needless to say it was unc. Marked 1000.00 bucks. LOL I thgought that guy was crazy. Untill two days latter, when on my seccond visit to that shop I noticed it was sold. Some on actaully paid that. Crazy
Just kept a group of 4 consecutive $1 Star notes. Got them from a nearby Wawa. Series 2003 #G08042717*-G08042720* Two of them have serious handling scuffs. Two of them are absolute well-centered CU notes. I`m gonna keep them all. Nice block of 4 consecutive notes. I always keep a few consecutive notes in CU or such, when I get them! Keep what you like!!!!
