Would you consider thisa unique serial number?

    Actually, all serial numbers are unique. As far as "interesting", I'll let someone else entertain that.

    As it is, if you like it, keep it. I catch and release these back into circulation. Not much of a demand for them. It's not a repeater or radar. I'd let it go.

    Are they in Canada? Does not necessarily apply to other countries. :) But I don't think this particular serial # is a keeper ...

    Of course they're unique. It would be very strange to have duplicate serial numbers. In fact, if a serial number is not unique, why even have one? Just number all the bills 000000000 and be done with it.

    LOL, agreed. Except that sometimes serial numbers are unique for one denomination only. I don't actually collect notes but am a (somewhat active) euro bill tracker, and this has come up in the EBT forums before. So you may have, say, a €5 and a €10 note with the very same serial number ...
