Very nice. I would think a blind man could feel the fullness of those bands. I sure hope PCGS can find them.
Based on your pictures, the answer is no. The middle set of bands is not complete. My answer may change with different pictures.
I called it no but a borderline call and not a series I'm real strong in I expect a little more definition in the bands for a fb designation
The photo reminds me of this one... http://www.thehappycoin.com/1916-10c-Mercury-Dime-NGC-MS-66-Full-Bands-p/c911.htm http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/index.aspx?CertNumber=3388630-004
I'm in the no camp. The middle band looks like morse code. That said, I love the coin and want old things to look old instead of freshly minted.
why would i pay Exquisite toning on this Full Band Gem...! Our Price: $625.00 PCGS # 4904 for a coin thats only worth 380??
From the photo, I just don't see FB. the groove in the middle band does not appear to be complete. My opinion might change with other photos.
A nice coin, pretty toning and good luster, but the Middle Band has breaks that would render it No FB.
I'm in the "No" camp. The middle band doesn't look complete to me. Can you post a pic with a close-up of that area? Looks to be a nice coin.
I'm more of a novice than just about anyone, and a quick look at PCGS's own web site compels me to vote "no": http://www.pcgs.com/News/Mercury-Dimes-With-Full-Bands "To PCGS graders, a Mercury dime with full band details will have fully separated horizontal bands on the central part of the fasces (the bundle of rods on the reverse). In addition, there can be no interruption on the trough (depression) of the bands due to strike, contact, planchet problems or any other damage, whether mint caused or not, if the coin is to obtain the PCGS Full Band designation." Oh, and they have pretty pictures, too. (Look! Squirrel!)
Based upon the picture, the upper 3 bands appear melded together as well. Ohh. I see, only the middle set of bands count. Well that's kinda dumb.
