    Other than all the scratches and stuff from a well circulated 38 year old nickel, I'm not sure what you are seeing.
    Can you be very descriptive of what you are seeing so it doesn't leave us guessing what you are thinking?

    I was looking at the gouges at the rim by the words IN GOD. They don't go through the letters, but appear to go under.
