Well, went to a garage sale today. Good number of overpriced common date Kennedys, Ikes and Susie B's. They did have a few foreign coins which I know nothing about. But I picked out a few I liked in an attempt to make the 35 mile round trip worthwhile. Got a 1906 Canadian Cent, 1936 half penny and a really nice 1949 Australian 3 Pence. Looked those all up and determined their worth. The fourth coin, pictured below, I believe is German but not sure. Looks like it's been cleaned. I weighed it and it's 2.60 grams. I think the KM# is 388 from a coin I found online but not really too sure about that either. Photo looks like I messed up when I cropped it, but the outer edge is actually that uneven. Mousing over image will enlarge. Would like to know if someone can help me identify this. Thanks for the help.

Oh, you are good Kasia. Wanna come over to my place and help me identify the 8 lbs of foreign coins that stldanceartist sent me?
Thanks. But it's not too hard. Just put the inscriptions into google and see where it leads you. Of course it does help if you are able to recognize some of the other languages that crop up, and evaluate whether the page/link you are looking at will give the info you seek, or a close approximation. Sometimes I put in the inscription and then google images and see if the same coin/medal comes up -- then find out what site the image is attached to.
I know, I do the same thing. The hard ones for me are the ones that aren't in our alphabet or don't have any text on them at all.
Thanks for the great info! That was pretty fast! I was looking for a photo of it online and only came up with this one. If this isn't it, it's awfully close. http://www.muenzauktion.com/kohlross/item.php5?id=11491&curr=USDEUR&lang=en
Yep. You're right. For sure the B version. The photo I found online (post #7) is different than mine also now that I examine it further. Great detective work Kasia!
