    it would defeat the purpose of something once in a while that was so beautiful that for it to become common place would be wrong

    I think it would lower the values of the ones already produced because they would not be as special and the population would grow. Once the reverse proof platinum is made the mint should stop and think and not make any others until another long term anniversay has passed. I have seen British reverse proofs go real cheap and the reason must be that there are too many of them.

    I don't think it will have any affect on the value of the previous releases.
    Releasing a set doesn't change the number previously produced.
    The new sets will be hoarded up by dealers and you will see the prices double quickly.

    Just my opinion.

    I agree. That first 2006 reverse proof will be the key coin for the Silver Eagles.
