So in searching for nice AU examples for my type dime set. I came across an NGC AU 55 1891 Seated Liberty Dime, and the seller wants 87.00. Another seller has one in an old anacs slab starting bid at 75, or a third option for a BIN same grade, same old anacs holder for a whopping 1600.00! I see no difference in slabs, or anything of that nature. Maybe this is an extreme example of price gouging, but 1600.00, really? This is what I am talking about when prices tend to go from one extreme to the other. Is the 87.00 asking price about right?

The first seller has been doing way too much LSD.

I honestly don't like any of the three, but the first one looks to be the best of them. As for his listed price an owner is welcome to ask anything he wishes for something--doesn't mean he will get it--or that he even expects to.

He has the "Make an offer" option. If you want the coin, make one.
