Good afternoon! Got this dollar bill this morning. Just curious if the serial number is even remotely interesting for collectors. I understand that the serial numbers are not in an ascending or descending order. However, all four numbers are paired, which I find pretty cool. So I am posting a pic and I am hoping to get everyone's input ,comments , opinions and infos that you might have. Thanks in advance IMG_20170828_131922048.jpg

At least it is not fake!!!!...You would have been down $2 then...$1 you have and the $1 you would have lost....

Generally you need a low serial number (00000099 or less), Solid (88888888) or ladders (12345678). There is some value in things like 7 of a kind and 00000999 or less. Radars (13699361) and repeaters (13691369) and 6 of a kind have a little value, especially if they are crisp uncirculated. There may also be some minor value in binaries (only 2 numbers but in random order) in high grades.

Nothing wrong with saving anything you think is interesting, just be aware that a lot of it isn't worth a premium (unless you get lucky and find a sucker, I mean buyer on ebay). Hope that helps

Unfortunately, I am unable to see any collector value.
