Hello, Recently I made the transition from roll hunting to bills since I recently moved overseas and have limited access to bulk coin :(.

I have gone through 1,000 in 1's, 2,000 in 5's, 2,000 in 10's and 4,000 in 20.00's and have only found a few star notes..most so tattered i didnt' think they were worth keeping. I have found a few bills in the twenties I would like your help deciding to throw them back or are they worth keeping?

1996 AA8241106F (one small fold in the middle, not all the way through)
2009 JB69143769C
JF57975772A
JF0048440C
IE0220247*

The 1996 is in the best condition, but the 2009's aren't bad either.

Thanks in advance!

Throw them in and keep looking they are all spenders. The star note you listed is from 06 having a print run of 2,432,000 making it very common and not much value over face.

Bonniview, Thank your for your help! Today I got some more notes and as always advice is much appreciated!

*Star Notes*
1963 A C00207032*
2003 D00200530*
2006 F06534145*

2009 G00204960*
G00244717*
D00095589*
A00458516*

I looked up the print runs and they all seem like high print runs so not worth more than face. What is the threshold for being considered a low print run?

Cool Stuff
2009 E66633363A

And I also found a peculiar 1995 bill that seems to have been stamped too far down. And a 1999 bill that seems to have an error in the printing of 1 of the numbers on both sets of serial numbers, is this even possible to have happened at the mint? bills.jpg

The one B87635180X is most likely a cut error. Not sure about the one with light serial print.

Don't take my word for this, I'm new also.

Your short runs are the following:
2003 D00200530* Key Series meaning only 1 printing (320k)
2006 F06534145*
2009 G00204960*
G00204717*
A00458516*
I'd keep the radar E/A block and spend the rest. Also i encourage you to check out TickelYourFacnyCurrency.com. This online dealer has most of the short run stars from '95 to current for sale. Its a good reference site to look up and see the print ranges for his star notes listed as well as radars and fancy serial numbers not to mention the retail prices. Your '03 D* he has for sale in fine condition $15 as these are hard to find in circulation and in very high grade they sell for several hundred dollars. Great find and have fun searching :thumb:

Thank you all for your help. Today i got 2k in fives and 3k in 10's they were all brand new uncirculated. It kind of took the fun out of it because you know whats coming next =\ as far as serials go. I found a RADAR, JB71877817A. I listed it on Ebay for 20.00 hopefully it sells to fund my running back and forth to 3 different banks every day lol. I am having a ball with this! Its addicting!
