Look at Givingawaythefarm's feedback. 69%! Apparently, he was selling "estate lots" for $9.99 a pop and gave away pocket change. Absolutely hilarious!

Wow. I can't beleive how many people don;t bother to read feedback when it come's to grab bag sellers. I bought a grab bag on ebay once a little over a year ago from a seller whos feed back was pretty good. It actaully wasnt bad for the money. But this is a perfect example of why you need to read a sellers feedback first. I wish I remembered the sellers name I bought from. I should look at my ebay account to find out.
All within the last six months! He's pretty far up in the worst percentage sweepstakes, but has a long way to go to match some of the Powersellers' total neg counts. I've seen them in the thousands. The worst percentage I ever saw with any volume was around 48% positive, but I do recall one with a -1 count, 0%, resulting from 1 positive and 2 negative.
Why is this thief still allowed to sell on eBay? That's what I don't understand and like Oldman says why aren't these people reading the sellers feedback? That's the first thing I look at when I'm interested in something. I hate to say it but those people that bought on those auctions are not the sharpest knives in the drawer!
Before the feedback change, a seller who dropped below 95% was temp booted, and a 2nd chance was given on probation. This guy obviously blew it. The new feedback will have sellers in the low to mid 90's as a norm feedback, according to the person I talked to yesterday. I had called about an unrelated problem and offhandedly asked them what to expect....they said 90% or above should be considered good, and a 95+ excellent. this is not Ebay policy mind you, just the opinion of the person who handled my call, we'll see...time will tell
I think he ran out of his "estate" coins! He sold everything all together, and people probably bought the items off a zero feedback seller... most of his initial cusomers were happy... he ran out, wondered what to do, and then started to ship off pocket change! All the negarives were those complaining that they got coins 3 weeks late, and that too 3 pennys and a 2007 dime (who said an estate cant have 2007 dimes??) ! (I almost choked on an apple when i read the feedback! Its hilarious!) aaahh well atleast ppl didnt lose hundreds of dollars...
Many of those positives had negative comments. Apparently they were afraid of the retalitory negative on their own feedback rating.
Ive sold a lot of stuff on ebay. mostly golf clubs and some military thing from when i was in the corp.....but yeah some people leave neg when you leave neg....i hate that. so if a person doesnt leave me feedback first and a deal went sour then i dont give feedback. i stand behind my word when i comes to business, and i can say most people dont. everything ive ever sold was quality and usually always give a bonus. i think ebay need to change there feedback policy to realistically show feedback.
