I am putting together world money books, of both paper money and coins for every country I can aquire. I have the Standard Catalogues for both old and new currency, but other than value, it has almost no other information. Is there a book or web site where you can find out more about the money from world countries? Any info appreciated. JonySky

I don't know about the paper money part, but with respect to coins, no, there is not a book or website - there are a plethora of book and websites. Some are very general, such as Coins of the World 1750*1850; but most are more focused, such as Silver Crowns of the Far East or Modern Japanese Coinage, to name just a few from my own library.

You can locate them by visiting your local public library; getting the ANA library's list of books and pamphlets available for loan to members; Googling "coins books" (2.2-million hits, including everything from a children's first reader about coins to Walter Breen's Encyclopedia of U.S. Coins; etc.

Good luck, and happy reading. :)
