World Mental Health Day is observed every year on 10 October for global mental heatlh education, awareness, advocacy against the social stigma that is often attached to it. But why having a "special" day for it :

    • Around 1 in 5 of the world's children and adolescents have a mental disorder.
    • Depression is one of the leading causes of disability, affecting 264 million people.
    • Almost 800 000 people die by suicide every year; 1 person dies from suicide every 40 seconds. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in individuals aged 15-29 years.
Each of us know at least one person affected by this terrible disease. Personally, I am convinced that being part of the large CoinTalk family helps to maintain mental balance and manage stress, don't you agree? Talking about mental health make me also think about some Roman Emperor...Here are mine, please show me yours !

If emperors and rulers had CoinTalk back in the day they probably wouldn't have been so edgy.

Elagabalus, widely known as one of the most deviant emperors ever. Without getting too political, apparently his transvestitism was a bit too much for the court. It must have been extremely awkward for a palace guard to see his god-emperor creeping around in drag, attempting to woo generals and statesmen.
Also, imagine the reaction of the local innkeeper when his god-emperor comes in, trying to play himself off as a common harlot!
