I know in the states here you can walk into a bank and get brand new rolls from the mint of coins. Stupid question but can you do that in other countries too? I need some over seas partners that can get mint rolls from the bank and ship them to me. Or at least let me know what that would cost. Anyone out there?

My personal experience is that Japanese banks have coin rolls available to non-commercial cusstomers, but in general banks in other countries - at least in the European Baltic region and Central America, do not.

What "other countries" are you interested in? Here in the euro area, you can get new (freshly minted) coins from the central banks. In most euro countries those come in rolls, in some others they are in bags.

The rolls are standardized regarding the number of coins (and also regarding the colors, I think), here is an example: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7c/Muntrollen.jpg Now when you go to a commercial bank here in Germany for example, you will get similar rolls, but not necessarily "fresh" ones from the central bank.
