Thanks Aidan!! I wonder if Sadam's note will be of any value now that he is no longer among us??

The www.papermoneyworld.net website is geared towards collectors of military related currency particularly US Military Payment Certificates. They also have a somewhat regular email newsletter called the MPCgram that you can subscribe to from the website or by emailing mpcgram@papermoneyworld.net.

It is doubtful that the Iraqi notes with Saddam's portrait will increase in value much. There were millions of them printed.

I (among too many other things) collect world banknotes and I'm a forum junkie (as only the owner of this site knows), but I'd never register without being able to see the discussions.

Samjimmy,a lot of forum administrators won't let you see what is on the forum unless you are registered. This is a way of reducing the likelyhood of their websites being hacked into or targeted by spammers.

    Aidan.
