There is images of the reverse on the obverse and image of the obverse on the reverse. It looks as though it happened before minted. There is also bubbling
@Xtdave154 Show a full picture of both sides. The thicker than normal Rim that you see is an illusion caused by a high pressure strike. Finned rim. Nothing really major but looks neat. Thanks for sharing.
Not if he’s in Europe fun fact, Europe does not sanitize eggs and there fore they don't remove a protective membrane on the shell and eggs with that membrane don’t require refrigeration. The USDA mandates sanitizing eggs here in the US which removes the membrane and why we need to refrigerate. it was bothering me when we were in Italy and all the eggs at the supermarket were on a regular shelf. I had to look it up. I knew this useless info would come in “handy” someday.
