Now, I'm not EXACTLY sure, but here's my guess: Upper-left: 1963 Rama IX 1 Baht 36th anniversary of Rama IX stamped on "white metal" (antimony/lead?) sheet. Upper-right: 1971 Rama IX 50 Baht 20th anniversary of fellowship of Buddhists die stamped on "white metal" (antimony/lead?) sheet. Bottom: 1971 Rama IX 50 Baht 20th anniversary of fellowship of Buddhists die stamped on copper(?) sheet. Edit: Yes... I bought something with no idea what it is.
looks like coins from Thailand. interesting pieces. test pieces ? testing metals ? hmmm not sure. :kewl:
I prefer to liken them to a hub test. You would test the die against different metals to see how strong the strike would be. I guess my guess of antimony is likely to be wrong, since the test metals should be malleable.
