Meh, I'm holding out for at least a 63. (For those of you following along at home, it looks like the finest example graded so far was AU58. And, no, it's not in my budget.)

 

$204,000....and according to numismedia it was quite a deal. NGC has only certified a total of 17 of these in all grades.

 

$204k is 2% over CDN, so that makes it a good deal.

My online price guide was in the $250,000 area.

 

I had to look up this coin as that price is humongous! Found this NGC AU58 1854-O from Rare Coins...$775K but does it look cleaned? There's like dark halo around the whole bust, the stars and the date.
