I went to the bank today and I asked did they have anything interesting. They said they had some silver certificates but they were holding them for somebody. But if the person decides not to take them they willl call me and I get them for face value. There are a bunch of 5s, 1s, and 2s. One of the 2s is a star note. All together there a $63 dollars in face value. Wish me luck that the guy decides not to take them. He might take them, but $63 is a decent investment, and if he is a coin collecter, chances are he will take them. But you never know.
I wish I'd run across something like that at my bank. That would be great to pick those up especially at face value. Im going to have to go to my bank more often and ask about some things. BTW, good luck with that and let us know how you make out.
Thanks. All I do is ask them to call me when they find something interesting or get something interesting. Such as I've been gettin some gem uncirculated $2 bills from my bank and storing them for a few years. My suggestion is go to all you local banks and ask them to call you if they get anthing interesting. And then to hold them for you until you get there.
