RickieB,hell, that is a very nice note.I can guess that after you've completed this set,you will end up looking for a Tombstone Note - the 1886 $10 with Vice-President Thomas Hendricks on it.

    Hey Aidan....

If I keep going like this I might end up needing a tombstone myself LOL!
What a nice note that would be! I suppose I could start saving up for a nice 8K example of an unc note :goofer: ...I am dreaming here, but thanks for bring that to my attention. in EX 40 it is only 2.3K if ya can find one.....Take Care my friend..take care...

RickieB,I didn't think that an example of the Tombstone Note was worth a lot of money.I wonder what the prices are like in the Pick catalogue on them are like.

Isn't there a place called Tombstone somewhere in the U.S.A.? Arizona, perhaps?

    Aidan.

    So SO Sad!!!!

I just received an email that recalled my notification on the 1914 $5 Blue Seal. It appears that at 30 seconds before closing I was out bid by $10.00.
The computer must not had registered the other bid before the auction ended. Booooo Whooooooo
    sniffle, sniffle...tear drop and :(

Therefore I am removing the pic and editing the post!!

    RickieB :(
