RickieB,hell, that is a very nice note.I can guess that after you've completed this set,you will end up looking for a Tombstone Note - the 1886 $10 with Vice-President Thomas Hendricks on it. Aidan.
Hey Aidan.... If I keep going like this I might end up needing a tombstone myself LOL! What a nice note that would be! I suppose I could start saving up for a nice 8K example of an unc note :goofer: ...I am dreaming here, but thanks for bring that to my attention. in EX 40 it is only 2.3K if ya can find one.....Take Care my friend..take care... RickieB :smile
RickieB,I didn't think that an example of the Tombstone Note was worth a lot of money.I wonder what the prices are like in the Pick catalogue on them are like. Isn't there a place called Tombstone somewhere in the U.S.A.? Arizona, perhaps? Aidan.
So SO Sad!!!! I just received an email that recalled my notification on the 1914 $5 Blue Seal. It appears that at 30 seconds before closing I was out bid by $10.00. The computer must not had registered the other bid before the auction ended. Booooo Whooooooo sniffle, sniffle...tear drop and Therefore I am removing the pic and editing the post!! RickieB
