I was very happy to win this one today. I know it is in rough shape but the portraits are very nice imho. Also these are scarce and do not come up very often at auction. I love that it is a true denarius of Claudius but almost as good is the fact that the reverse features Nero as Caesar.

Rough? Yes. But an interesting and, I think, rare coin. Congrats.

I was so tempted to bid on that coin. Decided not to, since I am chasing aes graves this month. But I think those portraits are great -- good win!

A most envious acquisition! Nero looks so innocent on the reverse.

I have bought from him a few times, most of the time his prices are fair. Only issues I have had is with shipping, I have had to send reminders just to get a coin shipped.

That's a wonderful dual portrait example, despite being a bit 'rough'. I LOVE the innocent Nero and the noble-looking Claudius!!! I think you did quite well. Congrats @Orfew !!
