Me too so I looked it up, never to old to learn http://www.pcgs.com/News/Pcgs-To-Add-Full-Bands-Designation-For-Roosevelt-Dimes
This is the second one I've found, I think the may be eating their hoagies or cheese steak over the dies
I'd much rather have an interesting conversation piece like this than pocket change designated FB/FT. I think I will hold out on slabbed Roosies until they come out with "full eyebrows".
Yeah, well that's not saying much! PCGS still believes that Frankies have only one set of bell lines. Chris
Yes, this coin would probably qualify for the FT designation.... and is a perfect example of the problems with strike designations.
You are really enjoying the magnifying glass thing since you discovered it huh, hehe. I have to admit it's pretty sweet.
No. PCGS Criteria Here: http://www.pcgs.com/News/Pcgs-To-Add-Full-Bands-Designation-For-Roosevelt-Dimes PCGS/NGC Criteria explained here in comparison: http://rooseveltdimes.net/full-torch-or-full-bands-roosevelt-dime/
Thanks , I don't collect Rosies , but I thought I heard "Full Torch" for a designation . Guess only NGC has to have the torch lines seperated , so no is only correct for PCGS not NGC which is a lot stricter .
Traditionally, NGC has been more strict on FBL for Franklins as well... BUT then we have stuff like this get into FBL holders. Lol.
