Will it CAC? #18 (last one for awhile) 1873 QUARTER DOLLAR - SEATED LIBERTY, TYPE 6, MOTTO & ARROWS graded by PCGS as VF25 This has the look of coin I really like, I have many of them with a similar look. Worn, a bit crusty, but with what I consider very nice eye appeal, sort of an "even" toning. Not too dark, not too light, just "right", well for me anyways.
Scratching my head on this one. There appears to be traces of luster, but the detail seems a bit lacking for a VF+ grade. I like the coin, but voting no bean.
Zooming in makes me doubt things but looking at the slab photo and imagining the in hand look, I think it's a perfectly solid coin that will get the green sticker.
Thats means of the 6 coins I submitted around a month ago, 4 PASSED (all green) 2 FAILED 1 of the failures I was 90% would fail, but submitted anyways. I really wanted the Ike to pass, but it did not. In my mind that means I was correct on 5 out of 6 coins.
