It's not down. I used to have that problem frequently but it was fixed by changing the DNS settings on my computer. At first I wasn't happy about having to change something on my computer to fix an access problem with just one website... but I visit Wildwinds frequently and in the end it wasn't much of a hassle. Here's the fix (Mac, but I'm sure you can find the appropriate location on a PC): Network > Advanced > DNS Click "+" to add IPv4 or IPv6 addresses Type 8.8.8.8 Click the "+" again Type 8.8.4.4 Click apply or OK or whatever to make the changes stick ... More details about the issue and its solution can be found in this Forvm thread. Most websites load faster for me now and I have no Wildwinds access problems, so I'm glad I made the change.
Had the same problem about a year or so ago, but fixed it just like girlfriend TIF. Don't let it intimidate you. Just follow the instructions off your search engine.
Bing was the person who finally convinced me to change the DNS settings. Usually, when I muck around with any computer settings everything ends up worse.
Yah, it's a bit random ... hey, but we don't pay for it, so I merely wait for it to kick back up ... it treats me better than most things in life => oh, but I am also unable to access the site at the moment (*sigh*)
