    I found a lousy one at the coin show here for $45.00 and the guy wouldn't budge. The only others I've seen on the net were all about $35 or so. I've waited for about a year to find a nice looking one and even though I may have paid too much, I can stop looking for one and just enjoy it.

    Is the glossy appearance normal, or is this of the age where wax or shellac was used and accepted?

    I like it. There is obviously variance in pricing, yet this is a decent looking piece. My collecting theme is that as much as you wish to stick to catalog prices, you end up paying more for a coin you like. That is the beauty of it as there are no 2 coins alike.
